  7. FBlit patches some OS functions that normally use the blitter, such that
  8. they can use the CPU, and consequently may function outside chip mem.
  9.  
  10. The patched functions are also faster and will suffer less from colour
  11. flicker on non-interleaved data.
  12.  
  13. In addition, it can force non-displayable bitmaps to be allocated in fast
  14. memory for named tasks.
